For teachers

Assignments that fit your calendar.

You record when you are available and what you teach. After that the requests come to you — from schools in the municipalities you chose.

Create your profile and record your availability.

Why this is not an application

You do not apply and you do not write a dossier. Schools see your availability and ask you directly. Every request states the date, time, cycle and subjects — you decide in one click whether it works.

Setting up your profile

  1. Record subjects and cycles

Which subject areas you teach, in which cycle. This determines which assignments you are visible for — without it, schools will not find you.

  2. Choose municipalities

The places you would work in. A realistic commute saves you requests you would decline anyway.

  3. Keep availability current

Record the days you are free. You only appear in schools’ searches on those days — this is the part that matters most.

You stay in control

  • A request is a request, not a commitment. Declining carries no penalty.
  • You can accept several assignments on the same day, as long as the times do not overlap.
  • When you accept one, any requests that clash lapse automatically — you do not have to decline them.
  • Push and email notifications can be turned off independently.

Cost and pay

Springerli is free for teachers — no commission is taken from your fee. You agree that fee directly with the school, at the usual cantonal rates. Springerli is not a party to it.

Permanent roles too

If you are open to something longer term, you can make yourself visible for permanent roles and state the workload you want. Schools that are hiring then approach you directly — or you express interest yourself. This is independent of whether you keep taking short-notice work.

Questions from teachers

Why am I not getting requests?

Usually one of three things is missing: subjects recorded for the cycle, at least one preferred municipality, and availability entered for the date being searched. If any one is missing, you do not appear in schools’ searches.

Do I have to accept a request?

No. You can decline any request, without giving a reason and without disadvantage. If you do not respond, the request lapses.

Can schools see my contact details?

Only once you have accepted a request. Before that, schools see your profile — subjects, cycles, qualifications and availability — and write to you through the in-app chat.

What if a school behaves inappropriately?

You can report individual messages and block the contact at any time. A block works in both directions and the other party is not told about it.
