For school leadership and administration

Fill cover without working through the phone list.

Absences rarely give notice. Springerli replaces the round of phone calls with a list of teachers who have already recorded availability for that date.

Register your school and post straight away.

What makes short-notice searching hard

The usual routes — a spreadsheet, a mailing list, the head teacher’s contacts — all share one flaw: they show who might be suitable in principle, not who is actually free on Thursday at 8am. You ask one person after another and wait between the refusals.

What Springerli changes

  • Availability before the request

Teachers maintain their own free days. You see availability for your date before you contact anyone.

  • Relevance, not broadcast

Filtering is by cycle, subject and preferred municipality — so you only see people who can actually take the lessons and for whom the journey is reasonable.

  • Ask in parallel

When it is urgent, ask several teachers at the same time. The first acceptance fills the assignment and the rest lapse automatically — nobody turns up twice.

  • One channel throughout

The request, the acceptance and the follow-up questions all live in the same chat. No switching between email, phone and a sticky note.

Not only short-notice cover

The same school can post longer placements for interns and civilian-service workers, and make open permanent roles visible. Interested people get in touch directly — without going through an advert.

What it costs

Schools pay a subscription, but only after Springerli has actually filled their first assignments. Entry is therefore tied to value rather than to a deadline: as long as nothing has been filled, there is no charge. Billing runs outside the app, by invoice.

Questions from schools

Do we have to vet the teachers ourselves?

Yes. Teachers record their own qualifications and subjects, and you see those details on their profile. The professional and personal judgement stays with you — as with any other appointment.

What happens if nobody accepts?

The assignment stays open and is flagged to you as needing attention. You can send more requests, or close it if the need has gone. Closing automatically withdraws any requests still outstanding.

Can we ask a teacher back if it went well?

Yes. Previous assignments you have worked together are shown, so familiar teachers are easy to spot. The chat with a teacher persists over time, including between assignments.

Are we tied to Springerli?

No. There is no minimum term on individual assignments and no obligation to fill cover through Springerli.
